Notifications in Teams
The Tato agent can send users notifications directly in Microsoft Teams. Some are triggered by events, others are scheduled.
To receive notifications from Tato, the person must have a user in Tato and the user must have permissions to access data.
Missed meeting notifications
When you are invited to a meeting but don't say anything in it, you will receive a notification from Tato after the meeting — alerting you that you may have missed something and sharing the notes and summary so you can quickly catch up.
You will also receive this notification if you joined the meeting but spoke from someone else's computer, because Tato only sees the other person's name in the transcript.
The notification arrives in Microsoft Teams chat from the Tato agent. Every message has a link back to the application so you can read the full notes or ask questions about that meeting in Tato.
Start the week off strong
Tato only has access to project interactions where it has been added. Sometimes users forget to invite Tato. Every week, Tato will send a reminder to people who book meetings to remind them to add Tato to that week's calls.
This notification can be disabled in your settings if you don't find it helpful.
Tracked components
Project components can be tracked. Navigate to a component and toggle Track on, then select the frequency at which you'd like to receive the notification.
When you track a component, the message you will receive uses the default recipe configured on that topic.
For example, you can track the "Integrations" theme and receive a daily notification in Teams summarising recent activity on that topic.
