Use Tato from Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot

Connect an AI assistant you already use to Tato. You can then ask it about your projects and meetings without opening Tato.

You must be an organization admin to set this up.

An assistant connected to Tato only reaches what the signed-in person can already see in Tato. Connecting a new assistant doesn't give anyone more access. It gives them a new place to use the access they already have.

Open MCP server settings

Press Cmd+K (Ctrl+K on Windows) and search for MCP server. This opens Organization settings → MCP server.

Turn on access

Turn on the MCP server integration toggle. This is the main switch for your organization. While it's off, no assistant can connect to Tato, whatever else is turned on.

Choose which assistants can connect

Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot are listed under Standard clients. Each one is off by default. Turn on only the ones your organization uses.

To connect another assistant or a custom tool, add it under Custom clients. Tato gives it its own OAuth client ID and a secret you can rotate at any time.

Under User access, pick which people can connect an assistant to Tato. A person can connect only when both the main switch and their own access are on.

Connect an assistant

In your assistant's settings, add a new MCP connection (some assistants call it a connector or an integration) and paste your organization's Tato address:

https://yourcompany.tato.co/api/mcp

Replace yourcompany with your organization's Tato subdomain. The assistant then asks you to sign in to Tato.

Ask Claude or ChatGPT for a project's status without opening Tato.
Pull a meeting recap into a document you're drafting in Microsoft Copilot.
