Use connected apps in chat

Once an admin adds an app like Jira or Confluence to Tato, you can ask Tato to work in it from Tato chat. You only need to connect your own account once.

Don't see the app you need? An admin has to add it first. See Connect your apps to Tato.

Connect your account

  1. Open Tato chat in a project where the app is turned on.
  2. Press Sources, then open Connectors.
  3. Press Connect next to the app. Jira and Confluence both appear as Atlassian.
  4. Sign in to the app and allow Tato access.

Once connected, the app shows a toggle. Turn it off to stop Tato from using that app in your chat. If an app shows Reconnect, your sign-in has expired. Press it and sign in again.

What Tato can see

Tato acts as you. It only sees and changes what your own account in that app can already see and change.

Things to try

  • "Pull every open Jira issue for this project and flag any that don't match what we discussed in today's meeting."
  • "Create a Jira ticket for the bug raised in the last meeting recap."
  • "Turn the decisions from this meeting into a new Confluence page."
